Ordination of Permanent Deacon Jules Dupuis

As in many Catholic dioceses throughout Canada, the Archdiocese of Moncton has called upon a few of its faithful to share the Gospel of Christ as permanent deacons.  The Church of Moncton was indeed happy to celebrate, on Saturday August 24th, our fifth ordination since the restoration of the diaconate as a full and permanent order in the Church.  Deacon Jules Dupuis became an ordained minister, accepting the mission entrusted to him by his bishop.  The celebration, presided over by the Most Reverend Valéry Vienneau, was held at 10h30 in St-Antoine-l'Hermite church at Saint Antoine, with a large number of our diocesan faithful in attendance for this happy event.
