Ordination of Permanent Deacon Armand LeBlanc

Published : 2019-05-21 a 10h30 | Category : Diocese

As in many Catholic dioceses throughout Canada, the Archdiocese of Moncton has called upon a few of its faithful to share the Gospel of Christ as permanent deacons.  The Church of Moncton was indeed happy to celebrate, on Saturday May 11th, our second ordination since the restoration of the diaconate as a full and permanent order in the Church.  Deacon Armand T. LeBlanc became an ordained minister, accepting the mission entrusted to him by his bishop.  The celebration, presided over by the Most Reverend Valéry Vienneau, was held at 10h30 in Christ-Roi church at Moncton, with a large number of our diocesan faithful in attendance for this happy event.
